The fate tablets are stolen. As events unfold, it becomes clear that Nin-an-ak, the living program, still exists and is responsible. Sigurd, Calgulla and En-Lil take up the pursuit. Nin-an-ak's destination appears to be the former planetary system of the Zetschn'cha, whose energetic half-world has fallen into the standard universe following the destruction of the magical construct. No one yet knows that a smaller version of it is located there, in the former seat of the tyrannical ruler Sol'altoo, the Hemisphere.
