And what if it is true? If we are merely a projection of some deeper order, the order where time does not exist? Where past, present and future exist at once? What then?
Some scientists believe that the Universe is a gigantic hologram and all information about us and about our reality are written down on a flat, two–dimensional plane. They deem that what we see, hear and feel, is merely a mirage. An illusion. Even the existence of time and the force of gravity...

Who Are We?
Night. I come up to the window and look at the sky; stars shimmer above my head with a thousand shades of whiteness. But also with yellow, azure and cool gray. Some of them shine so intensely as if they were the rulers of the Universe. Whereas the others just fade away in the depths of the night, bringing to mind humble servants who have accepted their fate.
-Do they know that we exist?
-The Earth is barely a speck as compared to the extent of the Universe. The former came into being about 4.5 billion years ago and it will disappear together with the entire Solar System in approximately 1.7 billion years.
-And who are the people? When have we appeared and why?
-It still has not been determined how long humanity exists. Supposedly, the first forms of life developed on the planet 3.7 billion years ago. Consecutively, animals have inhabited it for 800 million years. While mankind does not have a long history. People's lives are short. In the Old Stone Age the average lifetime was around thirty years.
Nowadays it is seventy seven years. We are Homo sapiens, nevertheless, the most intelligent creatures that have ever existed on Earth.
-Whois there? I cannot see anyone.
-It does not matter.
-Who are you?
The lid opens abruptly, my laptop's bright screen illuminates the room.
- I am going to tell you about Earth and about humanity. Come here and ask me.

Drifting
in the Universe
Where does the
Universe come from?
An immensely small dot with a huge density and energy had been warmed up to an unimaginably high temperature. It caused the explosion.
The Big Bang Theory
11
Where does the
Universe come from?
I fix my eyes on the screen. According to the data I found on the Internet, the Universe came into being around 13.8 billion years ago; because then somethingexploded. The problem is that today the researchers still cannot define whatexactly—after all, there had been nothing before. Neither matter, space nor time existed.
–A singularitycould have exploded… – responds the cosmologist who emerges from the computer as a genie and starts circling around my head.
–So, what exactly? – I ask, following him with my eyes.
–An immensely small point of a huge density and energy that was warmed–up to the unimaginably high temperature. It caused an explosion, the Big Bang, or, at least, this is the most probable theory.
–Perhaps… Apparently, you are right – I blink, trying to imagine the beginnings of the Universe. – There must have been a great boom.
–Not at all! – the cosmologist peeks at me from behind his glasses. – The sonic waves have not existed yet.
–Then what happened? Please, explain.
–The Universe began to expand at an extremely fast rate – he says considerately. – However, I can tell you only about the occurrences that took place after around 10–42seconds from the moment of explosion. In order to understand the time prior—also known as the Planck time—I would have to use quantum theory.
–Forget it. Tell it squarely, what did it look like…
–It was hot. After one hundredth of a second the temperature was about a hundred billion degrees Celsius. For comparison, in the Sun's core there is merelyten million degrees. After less than one more second, it decreased down to ten billion, and after another three minutes—to about a billion degrees Celsius.
12
The Big Bang Theory
13
–No, firstly there was a hot mix of all elementary particles. Then the more complex structures cleft off, among others protons, neutrons. In the successive stages the empirical formula was determined and stars, planets, and galaxies originated.
–Is it true that the Universe's diameter is about twenty three billion light years?
–Maybe…
Abruptly, the cosmologist starts walking around the room, bouncing from the walls.
–Stop it! – I glance at him, holding him back. – When did the Universe finish expanding? – I delve.
–It did not, just the opposite – he answers, sitting on the desk.
For five billion years the expansion of the cosmos has been advancing, just as if someone has been continually flooring the gas pedal.
Dark energy might blow it out in approximately 2.8 billion years. Then an immense coldness will ensue, a freezing vastness. Both stars and black holes will disappear.
–Blow out?What does it mean?
–Simply, as a balloon. Every atom will come apart, also those people are made of. Still – he adds, jumping on the computer – there are many theories which regard the end of the Universe.
–Wait, wait… what do you have in mind!? – I cover the screen with my hand. – That dark energy, what is it?
14
–A force that is stretching the cosmos, breaking the pull of gravity. It is constantly growing which process is gaining speed. It constitutes sixty eight percent of the Universe.
–I thought that the Universe consists of galaxies. I have read that there are around one hundred billion of them, each formed by several hundred billion stars, planets, comets, interstellar clouds…
–All those constitute only five percent. The rest, more or less twenty seven percent, is black matter, which means a gravitational bond which does not reflect electromagnetic radiation. That is the part we know the least about… – the cosmologist immerses his legs in the screen.
–Will you come here again?
–Yes, but in a parallel world. You are different there.
–Wait! – I call. – What am I like?
He did not respond but faded away.

Follow Your Own Path
Why do I want to seize my life at a run? After all, I am not capable of changing the trajectory of the Earth in order to improve whatsoever. Even if our planet is now heading in a precarious direction…
–The state of awareness is not unfavorable– I hear the voice reaching me from nowhere. I sense in it both softness and power. –The knowledge about the things that are happening around, as well as in our own minds and feelings, helps in creating real happiness. Not only that illusory one.
–Everything is an illusion – I counter instantly.– We only know the tiny fragments of the world and of ourselves. Of the reality perceived from one, narrow perspective. Ours.
Iglance about yet find no one.
–Anyway, why should I know?– I continue. – The truth is, I will have to come face to face with my helplessness sooner or later. Despite my best will to repair something.
173
Follow Your Own Path
–Take care of yourself, then the world that surrounds you will become better.
–Better? – I take up.
–Getacquainted with it, try to understand and pardon it for its frailties. This realization will put you at ease and indicate the path toward joy. You will attract the good and wisdom that pull the situation together.
–Is this the sole way to experience peace?
–No. There are many ways, but you should follow your own track.

Meta–Reality: How has it come into being?
I wrote the first fragments in the second half of September 2022. I did not know back then that they would constitute parts of a book.
I was preparing for a book signing in Katowice. Those texts, I was publishing then on my auctorial Facebook page, wanting to share the knowledge with my readers. It turned out that the subject area explored by me in this series as well as the way I decided to present it have been approved by them.
On this account, already after the book signing, I resolved to extend a collection of those stories and compile a publication that would address the problems of our planet. Followingly, this led me in the direction of humans and our detrimental activities on Earth. Thereafter, I enriched the contents with four texts related to global warming that I posted on my Facebook page within the series titled "The Colors of the World." The published fragments of the book Meta–Reality were liked by around four thousand people altogether and shared by nearly five hundred.

Even the existence of time and the force of gravity.
Reputedly, a group of specialists from Southampton University and their colleagues from Canada and Italy have already found proofs regarding this issue. Nevertheless, they are still analyzing the subject and gathering relevant data. If they convinced the public of their arguments, the Big Bang theory would be no longer defensible.
The Holographic Conception of the World intrigued the scientists in the 90s of the 20th century; some of them are positive that it explains all cosmological observations and obscurities, including the nature and the structure of the universe or the black hole information paradox. It also connects quantum mechanics with the theory of relativity.
And what if it is true?
