In the book, we analyze the self-definition of a member of the Polish nation that functions in Polish society. We relied on the 2018 survey (and compared to the 1988 and 1998 survey results) and the 2020-2021 qualitative research. The results show that Polish national identity is based on self-identification and cultural features (knowledge of the Polish language and culture). This type of self-determination determines national inclusiveness - the acceptance of foreigners as Poles, provided that they identify with Polish culture and the national community.
